Unicycle Class
Unicycling class is a multi-generational class for unicycle enthusiasts of all ages and abilities! This is a chance to practice what you know, learn from high level instructors, and work together with others to grow your unicycling prowess in a fun and supportive environment. Though this is a more informal structure than our typical classes, participants have enjoyed this relaxed instructional setting to spend with friends, family, and their new circus community!
Monday - 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm
Youth Combo Aerial
In youth combo aerial, students will be given the tools to safely explore, train, and eventually perform on: aerial silk, aerial hoop, aerial sling, single, double and triple trapeze, and other aerial apparatus, no matter what level of experience they come in with. As students progress, we will begin to include more advanced strength and coordination exercises that focus on timing, momentum and rhythm on aerial apparatus. Students will be able to comfortably and safely work on various bar and vertical aerial apparatus, improve and build on their physical endurance, spatial awareness, strength, flexibility and grace in the air.

Juggling
A multi-generational class for juggling enthusiasts of all ages and abilities! This class is a chance to practice what you know, learn from high level instructors, and work together with others to grow your juggling prowess in a fun and supportive environment. Progressions are taught to take students through working with balls, rings, clubs and knives when ready. Though this is a more informal structure than our typical classes, participants have enjoyed this more relaxed instructional setting to spend with friends, family, and their new circus community! Ages 10+
Monday - 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Teen and Adult Aerial
In this aerial class, students will be given the tools to safely explore and train on: aerial silk, aerial hoop, aerial sling, single, double trapeze, and other aerial apparatus, no matter what level of experience they come in with. As students progress, we will begin to include more advanced strength and coordination exercises that focus on timing, momentum and rhythm on aerial apparatus. At the Circus Harmony Center on the third floor of City Museum and at numerous outreach locations throughout the St. Louis area, we offer an array of circus arts classes for ages three through adult. We have fall and spring sessions along with holiday camps, summer camps, and January Sample Classes. You can also book workshops and private lessons any time of the year at City Museum or we can bring the circus to you.
Our staff is headed by American Youth Circus Organization/ American Circus Educators’ Excellence in Education Award winner, Jessica Hentoff, who has over 49 years of circus teaching and performing experience and includes Honored Artist of Mongolia, Rosa Yagaantsetseg.
