A Candle in the Darkness

We spent a full day putting together the opening and closing numbers of the Galilee Arches 2014 show, You can see photos and video at www.Facebook.com/circusharmony. While missiles are being fired between Gaza and Israel, in a small Arab town in the Galilee, 27 children who are Jews, Arabs, Christians, Muslims, rich, poor, black white and every shade in-between are creating a show full of trust and support. THIS is the story the news should be telling!!!

In the words of one of the mothers from St. Louis who is witnessing it:

” Although the situation in Israel is tense, the region where we are staying is not only peaceful, it is a model of true diversity, respect and collaboration.  Arabs and Jews here care about building a more peaceful Israel and our circus kids working together are a candle in the darkness.”
