In June, our St. Louis Arches were a highly acclaimed part of Circus Flora’s “One Summer on 2nd Street” in St. Louis. Some of our performers have also been making guest appearances in the monthly Circus Harmony Flying Trapeze Shows at Union Station. In July, a fantastic five of the Arches blew everyone away at the Worldwide Circus Summit while another fabulous five Arches amazed crowds with the Zoppe Italian Family Circus in the Berkshires and on Long Island! For August, we created a contemporary circus show in our ring at City Museum under the direction of former Arch, Keaton Hentoff-Killian, who had just performed with Cirque du Soleil for the opening of the Pan Am Games in Toronto. We ended the summer by getting a standing ovation from hundreds of other youth circus teachers and students at the American Youth Circus Festival in Portland, Maine.

Labor Day Weekend we are honored to be performing at the Library of Congress’ 15th National Book Festival in Washington DC! “Watch Out for Flying Children”, the book about our ongoing partnership with the Jewish/Arab Galilee Circus in Israel, is a featured book in the Teen Pavilion. Starting at 10 AM on Saturday, September 5, we have an unprecedented hour-long presentation with the award-winning author of the book, Cynthia Levinson! For more information, on the Festival, visit http://www.loc.gov/bookfest/  and on the book, go to http://www.cynthialevinson.com/books/watch-out-for-flying-kids/

Our fall classes started at the end of August. In addition to the St. Louis Arches and our usual Youth Circus Showcases, catch the amazing and amusing one-woman show by Elliana Grace and the new Chauncey & Donesha Show featuring hula hoops, handstands and more! You have until mid-October to fly with us at Union Station. For an evening of daring, drinking and dancing mark your calendars to attend our third annual Juggling Ball on November 14! Learn more here!
